Charleyyyy! How do you maintain your eyebrows? Do you wax, pluck or thread? Also, are they your natural colour or do you get them tinted? I know very few real people (i.e. not celebrities) with such perfect eyebrows. Just. Stunning. What is your secret?! xoxo
I wax them rarely. I mostly pluck just to clean them up, I like them as natural as possible so I don’t tint them or even fill them in with an eyebrow pencil. My secret? Having a latin mother, hah. I love my latin features but a lot of them are high maintenance like my curves and hair (everywhere!)
Would you be mad if I got a peacock feather the same place you did yours? Would you consider it a copy?
I wouldn’t be mad, that photo is all over the internet now and I’m sure many people will get it without me ever knowing. Also, a peacock feather is an extremely popular tattoo idea. However, when I decided on the placement I had never and still have yet to ever see a tattoo on the side of the knee like I chose (it was either the calf or thigh). So yes, I would consider it a copy.
Charley, I admire you. I'm a 19 year old girl just trying to figure out who I am. I've already came up with dozens of tattoos ideas and always give them up when I think "oh, but that woman wouldn't do it", "oh, but i can't imagine a sexy woman on an elegant party with this tattoo". The same comes to my body. When I saw you, I definitely wouldn't imagine you on those situations, but still, you look amazing and so charming. Still, you'd do great. Help me being this fearless, girl.
I got my tattoos because I loved them. If you’re “iffy” about getting or not getting tattooed then just don’t do it. I go to a red carpet or black tie event at least once a month so the “sexy woman at an elegant party” does apply to me. If you keep caring about other peoples opinion on your appearance your life will fly right by you. I am proud that I can make a statement and stay true to myself.
i just had my daughter a few weeks ago before i ever saw your blog/tumblr and her name is also charlie. it makes me so happy that i see a smart, beautiful and sweet girl named charley because i got a lot of shit for giving her a name typically used for boy's. make me love you even more <3
Aww! That’s awesome and thank you. My parents got the same flack from a lot of people too but I’m happy they stayed unconventional cause I LOVE my name. My mother has a “boy’s” name (Geri) and all of my sisters and cousins. It’s my favorite family tradition.
